To understand the potential biological impact of UPRmt in PCa, we first analyzed the mRNA levels of several key UPRmt components, including 3 mitochondrial chaperonins (Hsp60, mtHsp70, and Hsp10) and 3 mitochondrial proteases (ClpP, LONP1, and PARL), in 52 pairs of PCa and matching normal (MN)/benign prostate tissues in The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) data set. This evidence concerns the gene HSPA9 and posterior cortical atrophy.
