Further investigations on the anti-tumour mechanism in HepG2 cells indicated that 14f arrested the cell cycle at the G0/G1 phase, by regulating the cell cycle-related proteins (CDK4, CDK6, cyclin D1, CDK2, and cyclin E1), and induced apoptosis by mediating the apoptosis-related proteins (Bax, Bcl-2, caspase 9, and caspase 3). Here, CCND1 is linked to neoplasm.
