The risk score of patients with HCC who died, had cirrhosis, vascular invasion, main tumor size >5 cm, AFP > 300 ng/ml, poorly differentiated histology grade (G3‐4), and late period phase (TNM phase III‐IV, BCLC phase B‐C, and CLIP score ≥2) increased significantly, which further confirmed that the risk score promoted HCC development toward malignancy. The gene discussed is AFP; the disease is neoplasm.
