Owing to the level of mRNA expression was significantly higher in primary breast cancer tissues than in normal tissues for FAM83A, FAM83D, and FAM83G (Fig. 1A, D, and G); therefore, we can conclude that low expression of FAM83A, FAM83D, and FAM83G, but not FAM83F, mRNA was significantly related to a high DNA promoter methylation status.
