For confirmed HIV/AIDS patients and others during follow-up, indicators such as routine blood and liver function tests, etc. are more readily available, thus, the present study aims to construct three different models based on different baseline levels of CD4, CD8, the CD4/CD8 ratio and other follow-up results, among newly diagnosed HIV/AIDS patients with a CD4 cell count < 200 cells/μl and CD4 cell count ≥ 200 cells/μl. This evidence concerns the gene CD8A and AIDS.
