CTLA4 and neoplasm: This could be caused by a number of tumor immune evasion mechanisms, including upregulation of co‐inhibitory ligands such as CTLA‐4, PD‐L1, PD‐1, Tim‐3 on AML cells,5 reduced expression of neoantigens/MHC,6 enrichment of immunosuppressive cell subsets such as regulatory T cells (Tregs),7 myeloid‐derived suppressor cells (MDSCs)8, 9, and tumor‐associated macrophages (TAMs),10, 11and induction of T‐cell exhaustion.5, 12
