ATF2 and gastric cancer: As shown in Fig. 3E, the level of activated ATF2 (p-ATF2) in HCT-116-p53+/+ overexpressing ATF2 (WT) cells exhibited not change after cisplatin treatment, while in HCT116-p53−/− cells, cisplatin could significantly increase the phosphorylation of ATF2, which was consistent with the above findings in GC cells.
