In summary, as displayed in the Fig. 6 schematic, our study demonstrated the expression levels of CALR and regulatory effect of CALR on GC cell migration in vitro and vivo and provided several insights into the regulatory effect of CALR on the methylation status of the E-cadherin promoter in GC, which provided promising therapeutic approaches in the treatment of metastatic GC with high CALR expression. Here, CALR is linked to gastric cancer.
