Yang et al. conducted an experiment based on the positive correlation between CagA-positive Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) and atherosclerosis highlighted by seroepidemiological studies, revealing that exosomal CagA inhibited the expression of ABCA1 and ABCG1 by downregulating the expression of PPARγ and LXRα and promoted the formation of foam cells. Here, NR1H3 is linked to atherosclerosis.
