The first clinical study on the combination of anti-PD-1 antibodies (pembrolizumab) and allogeneic NK cells in patients with advanced NSCLC in China was recently published (93), and it reported the doubling of the number of NK cells, significant increases in the levels of cytokines such as IL-2, TNF-β, and IFN-γ, and significant decreases in the levels of multiple tumor markers such as circulating tumor cells (CTCs) after treatment in the combination therapy group. The gene discussed is IL2; the disease is neoplasm.
