High mRNA levels of AKT1, AKT2, PDPK1, PDK2, NFKB, and PI3K predicted poor overall survival (OS) in all NSCLC patients, whereas low mRNA levels of PTEN and TP53 were found to indicate worse overall survival (OS) in all NSCLC patients. The gene discussed is AKT1; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
