High mRNA levels of AKT1, AKT2, PDPK1, PDK2, NFKB, and PI3K predicted poor overall survival (OS) in all NSCLC patients, whereas low mRNA levels of PTEN and TP53 were found to indicate worse overall survival (OS) in all NSCLC patients. This evidence concerns the gene PTEN and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
