NTRK1 and non-small cell lung carcinoma: Anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) is a member of receptor tyrosine kinase family, and the most prevalent alterations of ALK are chromosomal rearrangements leading to fusion genes, which play an oncogenic role in a variety of malignancies, such as non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL) (Du et al. 2018).
