CRP and Decreased total leukocyte count: The regression analysis showed that (Table 1) altered mental status (odds ratio (OR) 5.681, p = 0.017), leukopenia (WBC count <4000/μL; OR 75.879, p ≤ 0.001), prolonged aPTT (>40 s; OR 80.133, p ≤ 0.001), and normal CRP level (≤1.0 mg/dL; OR 166.855, p ≤ 0.001) were significantly associated with SFTS as compared to scrub typhus.
