The use of 15d-PGJ2, rosiglitazone (BRL49653), or Tro suppresses Fn gene expression in NSCLC by lowering the binding activities of the TFs cAMP response element (CRE) and specificity protein 1 (Sp1) via the PPAR pathways, and these inhibitory effects of ligands are abrogated by a PPARγ antagonist, GW-9662 [164]. The gene discussed is PPARA; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
