Guyotat et al. evaluated the prognostic significance of CXCR4 in 90 AML patients with flow cytometry and showed that patients with low CXCR4 expression had a better prognosis and longer relapse-free time, with an overall survival rate of 24.3 ± 2.9 months compared to 12.8 ± 2 months for patients with high CXCR4 expression [12].
