Two biologics, dupilumab (an anti-interleukin (IL)-4-α chain receptor antibody) and omalizumab (an anti-immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibody), have recently been granted European approval as add-on therapy with INCS; dupilumab has been approved for adults with severe CRSwNP in whom systemic corticosteroids and/or surgery do not provide adequate disease control [16], and omalizumab has been approved for adults with severe CRSwNP in whom INCS therapy does not provide adequate control [17]. Here, IGHE is linked to chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps.
