In patients with positive PET/CT images, the values for serum calcium and PTH did not significantly differ compared to the overall group (serum calcium = 2.78 ± 0.15 mmol/L, p = 0.186; PTH = 127.76 ± 114.94 pg/mL, p = 0.335) or to the group with no evidence of adenoma in PET/CT images (serum calcium = 2.73 ± 0.22 mmol/L, p = 0.176; PTH = 105.52 ± 35.40 pg/mL, p = 0.531) (Figure 4). The gene discussed is PTH; the disease is adenoma.
