Screening for fungal antigens and immunoglobulins including Histoplasma antigen, cryptococcal antigen, Aspergillus galactomannan, Aspergillus IgG and IgE are effective tools for establishing a diagnosis of disseminated histoplasmosis, cryptococcosis, invasive aspergillosis, CPA and ABPA, respectively [2,8,18,19,20,41,42]. This evidence concerns the gene IGHE and allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis.
