At baseline (0 weeks WD), very low levels of RIPK1, RIPK3, and MLKL were observed in the atherosclerosis-prone aortic arch of both ApoE−/− and ApoE−/− Fbn1C1039G+/− mice but the expression levels increased during plaque progression (Figure 3C). Here, RIPK1 is linked to atherosclerosis.
