Kaplan–Meier analysis of kidney clear cell carcinoma showed significant survival associations for high and low expression groups for TAS1R3 (p = 0.0062), TAS2R4 (p = 0.015), TAS2R5 (p = 0.0029), TAS2R14 (p < 0.001), and TAS2R20 (p < 0.001) and the mean-normalized sum of expression of these genes that individually predicted survival (p < 0.001, Supplemental Fig. 5). This evidence concerns the gene TAS2R4 and clear cell renal carcinoma.
