Our results show that IgE correlated positively with CML and that there existed a significant interaction of IgE and CML in relation to ISR, suggesting that elevated circulating CML might contribute to the activation of granular cells and the amplification of inflammation, mediating more local and systemic IgE release and, at the same time, leading to the pathogenesis of ISR in type 2 diabetic patients. Here, IGHE is linked to type 2 diabetes mellitus.
