Respondents with a BRCA1 or BRCA2 mutation were almost exclusively diagnosed with high-grade serous cancer (93% vs. 88%); in contrast, multiple OC types were noted in women with mutations in Lynch Syndrome (MSH2, MSH6) or moderate risk (BRIP1, RAD51C, RAD51D) genes. The gene discussed is BRCA2; the disease is Lynch syndrome.
