GO term annotation showed that co-expressed genes of AQP5 were mainly involved in Staphylococcus aureus infection, cell adhesion molecules, hematopoietic cell lineage, ECM–receptor interaction, viral myocarditis, JAK-STAT signaling pathway, osteoclast differentiation, phagosome, Th17 cell differentiation, and inflammatory bowel disease (Figure 7G). Here, AQP5 is linked to staphylococcus aureus infection.
