HIF1A and glioma: There are shreds of evidence showing that long non-coding RNAs may be involved in the promotion of glioma’s angiogenesis, which is a very ultimate factor that affects glioma’s development; recently, a study reported that lncRNA H19 promotes angiogenesis by activating the miR-138/HIF-1*/VEGF pathway, suggesting that targeting this pathway could be essential for successfully stopping angiogenesis (16), also, a study conducted by Zhihua Cheng et al., reported that long non-coding RNA XIST inhibited miR-429, led to glioma tumorigenesis and angiogenesis (39).
