Multivariate analyses adjusted for age, Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status (ECOG PS), BMI, smoking status, PD-L1 status, and GS revealed that emphysema (GS ≥ 1), good PS (PS ≤ 1), and high PD-L1 expression were independently associated with better PFS, while smoking status was not.
