The results showed that the mean concentrations of S100A8/A9 were (3.92 ± 1.27) and (1.59 ± 0.73) μg/mL, SAA1 (39.06 ± 9.23) and (20.68 ± 4.79) μg/mL, ENO1 (15.46 ± 3.48) and (11.02 ± 3.25) μg/mL, TPI1 (27.98 ± 6.46) and (18.85 ± 5.23) μg/mL, as well as PGAM1 (7.78 ± 3.01) and (5.27 ± 2.84) μg/mL in ESCC and healthy groups, respectively (Fig. 8H–L). Here, PGAM1 is linked to esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
