In one of our previous study, we established that Nkx2.8 inhibited proliferation by upregulating FOXO3a and suppressing the MEK/ERK pathway, and Nkx2.8 negativity was associated with lymph node metastasis and adjuvant chemotherapy efficacy [25]. Here, NKX2-8 is linked to metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
