PNPT1 and Glycosuria: The present study, combined with our previously published results (Jackson et al., 2016; Jackson and Mi, 2017; Jackson et al., 2018), show that five different PNPase inhibitors (8-aminoguanosine, 8-aminoguanine, 8-aminoinosine, 8-aminohypoxanthine, and 9-deazaguanine) cause diuresis, natriuresis, and glucosuria.
