Furthermore, the qRT-PCR analysis in Figure 5(c) shows that curcumin treatment resulted in the decreased inflammation response in TNF-α-stimulated MH7A and RA-FLS, and the effect of curcumin could be partially restored by IGF-1, indicating that curcumin inhibited inflammation response in MH7A and RA-FLS cells under TNF-α condition through regulating the PI3K/AKT pathway. Here, IGF1 is linked to rheumatoid arthritis.
