Anti-AIM2 antibodies were also associated with a small but significant increase (0.63 ± 0.55 vs 0.43 ± 0.51, P = 0.0333) in the SLE Physician Global Disease Activity score, which is based solely on clinical estimation of SLE activity, rather than serologic indices.
