The results of this study indicate that comorbid asthma, high serum eosinophil levels (≥ 300 cells/uL), CRSwNP phenotype, SNOT-22 ≥ 40 and LM scores ≥ 17 in combination provide an effective means of predicting IgE high type 2 inflammation. The gene discussed is IGHE; the disease is chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps.
