There were 4377 patients (61.1% of the diabetes population) with at least 1 glucose lowering medication prescribed between January 1, 2018 and June 30, 2019; metformin was the most commonly used agent (77.7%), followed by insulin (24.6%), insulin secretagogues (23.6%), SGLT2i (19.7%), DPP4i (19.3%), GLP-1RA (9.4%), and thiazolidinediones (1.1%).
