As an RNA modification enzyme, METTL7B has been shown to regulate cell cycle in tumor progression [11], epithelial-mesenchymal transition [12], and appears to be engaged in the regulation of inflammatory signaling pathways via Janus Kinase 1 (JAK1) [29,30].Therefore, whether METTL7B modulates inflammatory responses by targeting JAK1 needs to be further studied.
