ERGIC3 and hepatocellular carcinoma: Many genes, such as p53 (Hu et al., 2014), Gal-1 (Leung et al., 2019), Gli2 (Shi et al., 2017), BAG-1 (Gao et al., 2017) and several others, are involved in tumorigenesis of hepatic tumor. Recent studies have found that abnormal high expression of ERGIC3 also promotes the proliferation and migration of HCC cells (Zhang et al., 2013), but the molecular mechanism needs to be further studied. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the molecular mechanism of ERGIC3 knockdown inhibiting the growth of human hepatocellular carcinoma SMMC-7721 cells based on transcriptomics.
