During the evaluation of CVB3-infected myocarditis, serum concentrations of creatine kinase, CK-MB, and cardiac troponin I (cTnI) were significantly increased in the CVB3-infected mice than the noninfected group and the model group with Nec-1, suggesting severe damage to cardiomyocytes in the VMC mice models. The gene discussed is TNNI3; the disease is myocarditis.
