Anti-α-SMA, anti-CD68, anti-CD31, and anti-IL-37 antibodies were used for staining the AAA tissues, which revealed that although IL-37 was distributed in the VSMCs, macrophages, and endothelial cells, it was mostly concentrated in the VSMCs (Figures 1(a)–1(c)). The gene discussed is PECAM1; the disease is triple-A syndrome.
