SLC24A2 and type 2 diabetes mellitus: Firstly, we found that SLC24A2 was significantly upregulated in T2D patients within 3 datasets (GSE76896, GSE76896, and GSE76896) and negatively correlated with fasting plasma glucose (FPG) in GSE76896, suggesting that SLC24A2 might be a potential inhibitor of T2D through lowering blood glucose.
