More recently, TEAD4 has been demonstrated in tumorigenesis and cancer progression, including cancers of the breast (He et al., 2019; Wu Y et al., 2021), prostate (Chen CL et al., 2021), gastric (Shuai et al., 2020), bladder (Wu et al., 2019; Wang J et al., 2021), thyroid (Zhang et al., 2022), and lungs (Zhou et al., 2017; Gu et al., 2020; Hu et al., 2021; Yan et al., 2022). This evidence concerns the gene TEAD4 and cancer.
