Yoon et al. [37] found that the phosphorylation of histone deacetylase 2 (HDAC2) induced by hypertrophic stress enhances the specific binding of HDAC2 to Hsp70 and maintains its phosphorylation state, leading to the activation of HDAC2 and the development of myocardial hypertrophy.
