SQSTM1 and cervical cancer: We observed increased autophagosomes (Fig. 3B), significantly up-regulated LC3B-II expression levels, increased LC3B-I/II conversion, and p62/SQSTM1 degradation in the SiHa and CaSki cells with circTICRR knockdown (Fig. 3C), and the opposite results were obtained in HeLa cells with overexpressed circTICRR (Fig. S2b,c), compared with the control cells, suggesting that circTICRR knockdown increased the amount of autophagosomes in cervical cancer cells, and vice versa.
