Similarly, we investigated the role of HDAC7 in promoting ESCC metastasis by performing a nude mouse lung metastasis assay and found that overexpression of HDAC7 increased the incidence of lung metastasis, whereas loss of HDAC7 exerted the opposite effect (Fig. 4F, G and Supplementary Fig. S2G, H). Here, HDAC7 is linked to esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
