Additionally, the proportion of patients with higher ALT (21 vs. 19, p = 0.001), lower serum albumin (35.3 ± 4.6 vs. 37.1 ± 4.1, p < 0.001), higher serum creatinine (92.2 ± 38.2 vs. 84.6 ± 26.1, p = 0.006), lower lymphocyte count (1.7 ± 0.7 vs. 1.9 ± 0.6, p < 0.001), lower hemoglobin (121.9 ± 22.3 vs. 130.2 ± 16.5, p < 0.001), lower platelet count (171.3 ± 64.3 vs. 187.7 ± 58.7, p < 0.001), lower PNI (44 ± 6.2 vs. 46.7 ± 5.8, p < 0.001), and severe tricuspid regurgitation (33.7 vs. 25.1%, p = 0.008) were significantly higher in the lower LDL-C group. Here, ALB is linked to tricuspid valve insufficiency.
