In the present study, compared with the HFD group, the levels of ALT, AST, TG, and TC in the TGQZD group were significantly lower (p < 0.05), which indicated that TGQZD could reduce the damage due to the presence of high fat levels in hepatocytes and improve the lipid metabolism of NAFLD rats. The gene discussed is GPT; the disease is metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
