The prevalence of total crude and total albumin-corrected hypocalcaemia in this study were 61.64 [58.69–64.50]% and 56.70 [53.72–59.64]%, respectively (p-value = 0.000), while the prevalence of ionised hypocalcaemia was as low as 2.89 [2.04–4.07]%. This evidence concerns the gene ALB and Hypocalcemia.
