MiR-223 regulates cell differentiation, proliferation, apoptosis and metastasis as a tumor suppressor in leukemia, lymphoma, oral cancer, lung cancer and breast cancer.[24] MiR-223 was up-regulated in human gastric cancer tissue samples, FBXW7/hCdc4 (FBW7)[25] and RhoB[26] and Stathmin1[27] as the target genes of miR-223 regulate the occurrence and development of GC and drug resistance. This evidence concerns the gene FBXW7 and gastric cancer.
