ZKSCAN1 and bladder transitional cell carcinoma: Numerous studies have found that the activated PI3K/AKT signaling pathway is closely related to the invasion and metastasis of tumor cells [20]. In BLCA, GAL1, ZNF139 and circZNF139 promoted the invasion and metastasis all by the activation of PI3K/AKT pathway [41, 42]. Our KEGG enrichment analysis of genes related to TEAD4 expression and EMT—related genes showed that the enrichment was significantly concerned with PI3K/AKT pathway, suggesting that PI3K/AKT pathway was involved in TEAD4 regulated EMT process in BLCA.
