With high ADORA2B gene expression in breast cancer, the blockade of the adenosinergic pathway has been widely studied in breast cancer.40–49 To investigate if our novel A2BAR antagonists would affect breast cancer growth, we used a drug screening platform based on breast tumor resections.50 It is composed of majority tumor cells at 73.2%, with 11.2% immune cells based on flow cytometry analysis of EpCAM and CD45 expression, respectively (online supplemental figure 4E,F). This evidence concerns the gene ADORA2B and breast carcinoma.
