CTACK (CCL4), MIG (CXCL9), GROa (CXCL1), MIP-1b (CCL4), Eotaxin (CCL11) and IL-8 belong to the chemokine family and evidence suggest that they could potentially play a role in Alzheimer’s disease. This evidence concerns the gene CXCL9 and early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
