Based on imaging information extracted from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), and positron-emission-tomography (PET), radiomics analysis can be performed to identify the presence of EGFR, anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK), Kirsten rat sarcoma viral oncogene (KRAS), and Erb-B2 receptor tyrosine kinase 2 (ERBB2) mutations in patients with non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) [14–18]. Here, KRAS is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
