To further confirm the PITPNA-AS1 expression in gastric cancer tissues compared with their matched normal tissue, we have measured PITPNA-AS1 expression in 153 gastric cancer tissues compared with para-cancer tissues and found that PITPNA-AS1 was significantly increased cancer tissues; meanwhile, the level of its putative target miR-98-5p significantly downregulated in cancer tissues (Figures 2(a) and 2(b)). The gene discussed is PITPNA; the disease is cancer.
